Banks offer charities very low interest rates

Charities are receiving very poor interest rates on their bank accounts, according to a BBC Radio 4 consumer programme.

BBC Radio 4’s Money Box programme reports that banks and building societies are offering charities very low interest rates, with “many receiving interest as low as 0.1%.”
