Online memberships at National Trust

The National Trust is succeeding in persuading people to become members online.

Internet World this month features an interview with the National Trust. The Trust reports that it has taken more than 6,000 online membership applications since January 2000, “which is extremely successful for us.”

In the same article, Brendan Major, head of information services at NSPCC, said: “We’ve also learned that e-mail marketing offers the best possible spped of response for an extremely low cost.”
