FriendsReunited is a new Web site that is designed to allow people to locate former classmates from any secondary school in the UK. In many ways therefore it is providing one of the basic services that school alumni officers offer. Perhaps there are mutually beneficial opportunities for schools in this initiative, if it gives them an opportunity to make contact with missing alumni.
