US radio station WFAN’s radiothon has raised $127,000 in online donations in under 30 hours. More than 1,100 people donated online, resulting in a 187% increase over last year. WFAN’s consultants, Changing Our World, managed the online fundraising campaign, creating a viral e-mail thank you note for donors, reporting on totals throughout the 28.5 hours of the Radiothon, and gathering responses and comments from donors.
Blackbaud’s RE:NetDonors was used to manage the secure online gift processing. RE:NetDonors is a suite of Web-based services that enables non-profits to accept online donations, send targeted e-mail appeals and measure the results, offer online event registration and publish online directories.
