Cumbria Community Foundation is co-ordinating all local grant distribution in the wake of the foot-and-mouth outbreak.
In response to hardship created by the foot-and-mouth outbreak, Cumbria Community Foundation has been asked by the Rural Task Force to co-ordinate all local fundraising and grant distribution. They even have two members of the army working out of their offices, according to the Community Foundation Network.
