At present it doesn’t appear that organisations, including charities, can register. Nevertheless, e-mail payment systems, such as the US Paypal.com, which is available to organisations, offer attractive possibilities. NOCHEX for example does not charge a fee for users to send or receive payments. They charge when money is transferred to or from a user’s debit card. This could make it an attractive alternative to credit card payments.
