As video and other streaming media are used more extensively on charity Web sites, a new captioning tool should prove increasingly useful. Video is not in itself very accessible to people with visual disabilities, so any tool that can help add captioning easily will be welcomed by online publishers and users alike.
As video and other streaming media are used more extensively on charity Web sites, a new captioning tool should prove increasingly useful. Video is not in itself very accessible to people with visual disabilities, so any tool that can help add captioning easily will be welcomed by online publishers and users alike.
MAGpie, The Media Access Generator has been released the National Center for Accessible Media at WGBH-TV in Boston. APC-only application, it supports popular media streaming formats, including RealNetworks, Windows Media, and QuickTime.
