Hamlyn to donate £17m to Royal Festival Hall

The Independent reports that Lord Hamlyn is to donate about £17m to the redevelopment of London’s Royal Festival Hall complex. In return the concert hall will be named after him.

Lord Hamlyn recently gave £2m to the Labour Party.
