International development charity World Vision has launched its first e-commerce initiative in the form of an online gifts catalogue. The online shop will be promoted by a direct mail campaign and through banner adverts on Freeserve, an official sponsor of the charity.

The site has already been soft-launched to supporters and is now being promoted publicly.
