Wealthy broadcasters

The Daily Mail today publishes a list of the 100 wealthiest broadcasters. Topping the list are Sir Peter Michael of GWR Group, Anne Wood & Family of Ragdoll Productions (of Teletubbies fame), and Michael Green of Carlton Communications.

A number of comedians in the list have shown that funny business can lead to funny money. Rowan Atkinson, Jasper Carrott, Mel Smith, Griff Rhys Jones, and Jennifer Saunders are all multi-millionaires. Many of course already have established relationships with a number of charities.
