Alertnet launches Aid Fund

Reuters Foundation has launched the Aid Fund to distribute to charity members of the Alertnet Internet community. It expects to donate £50,000 a year to help fund disaster work by these charities. The public can donate to the Fund online, and Reuters is expected to undertake fundraising events with clients to help boost the Fund’s income.
