Charity Tickets is a Web-based ticket agency that helps charities in selling tickets to their fundraising events. You only pay if a ticket is sold. The listing in their searchable directory is free, so you could generate some useful extra promotion for your event at no charge. Charity Tickets charges 12% of the value of each ticket sold, with a minimum charge of £1.50, which includes the mailing of the ticket to the purchaser.
