QXL's Tim Jackson's charity interests
It is not just US Internet entrepreneurs who have a healthy interest in sharing some of their wealth through philanthropy. Tim Jackson, founder of QXL, is giving up his non-executive directorship of the company to spend more time with his venture capital fund “and on his charity work,” according to the Independent.
“He has moved about half his shares, which are still the subject of a lock-in, to various charitable foundations”, reports Saeed Shah in today’s issue.
