Average UK annual donation £4.40

Charities Aid Foundation and the Institute of Fiscal Studies have carried out the latest survey of household giving in the UK. Findings released include the fact that the average amount donated per household has risen to £4.40 in 1997/98, up from an even more unimpressive £4.06 in 1994-95.
