Pensioners in the north of England have received unwanted first aid kits as part of a fundraising scheme. A telemarketing firm has been offering to sell the first aid kits and donate one third of its profits to good causes.
The Red Cross and six other charities warned the public in November about this fundraising scheme, stating that it had no contract with the telemarketing company.
