Microsoft domain name saviour helps charities

Microsoft nearly lost an important domain name. Charities could benefit a little from this oversight.

The computer consultant who spotted that Microsoft’s domain name passport.com had expired is auctioning his $500 reward cheque from Microsoft in aid of charity at eBay.com.
