Two e-mail discussion lists for Christian fundraisers have merged.

Two e-mail discussion lists for Christian fundraisers have merged. The older Hilaros, founded in 1996, has now merged with Christiandev, one of the non-profit discussion lists run by US e-mail discussion list hub CharityChannel.

Cliff Glovier, founder of Hilaros, will join volunteers Betsy Clarke and Kathy Johnston as Co-Moderator of ChristianDev.

CharityChannel’s Stephen Nill said of the merger: “Because its roots are primarily in higher education, the folks from the Hilaros list are mostly from higher education development offices. The merger will give the Hilaros community a broader exposure to folks from other kinds of nonprofit organizations. Then, too, the original ChristianDev group will benefit from exposure to the higher-education world of Christian development, with its well-developed methods and traditions.”

ChristianDev’s membership has grown from 250 subscribers to 425 as a result.
