The Charity Commission today recovered £45,000 of charitable funds from Mr Ronald Morrissey, the former chairman of the Sherburn House Charity.

The Charity Commission today recovered £45,000 of charitable funds from Mr Ronald Morrissey, the former chairman of the Sherburn House Charity. Following the Commission’s actions, the Court has ordered Mr Morrissey, Mr Graham Pattison the former Master of the Charity, and his wife Mrs Valerie Pattison to repay over £200,000 to the charity. The money had been spent on cars, a pension fund and payments to another organisation controlled by two of the individuals involved.
