Conrad N Hilton Humanitarian Prize offers $1 million

The annual Conrad N Hilton Humanitarian Prize of $1 million honours a volunteer, charitable or voluntary organisation that has made extraordinary contributions towards alleviating human suffering.
Nominations are sought from throughout the international community and will close January 15, 2000. An independent international panel of jurors will make the final selection; the award will be announced in the fall of 2000.
