The charity shop boom is over, according to David Brindle in today’s The Guardian.

The charity shop boom is over, according to David Brindle in today’s The Guardian. “After years of rapid expansion,” he writes, “shortages of volunteers and donated goods are hitting some of the biggest chains and forcing the conclusion that there are simply too many shops in the market.”
