Just in case you were thinking of approaching a member of the Royal Family for a major donation a recent survey reveals just how much they are worth. A EuroBusiness survey claims that the Royal Family has a personal fortune of £2.7 billion, making it the third richest royal family in Europe. Charles, Prince of Wales, is even richer than the Queen, it would appear. The findings have, however, been dismissed by Buckingham Palace which argued that some of the Windsors’ assets such as the Duchy of Cornwall could not be counted as personal assets.
