iGive [formely eyegive] – the latest figures

Howard Lake | 1 October 1998 | News

UK Fundraising first reported on the innovative online fundraising of eyegive, now renamed iGive, a year ago in October 1997. iGive has just released its latest figures, and the project is clearly beginning to bear fruit. The project now has 13,211 members, who have listed 2,245 nonprofits to benefit from their Web-browsing activities. The average member has helped raise $2.08 in the past 30 days, and a total of $5.61 in the year to date. (This demonstrates the speed with which eyegive is growing). On average, nonprofits that have been nominated have received $35.68 over the past year, but $10.61 in the past 30 days alone. The most successful nonprofit has received $9,842.50 in the past 12 months.

Until 10 October, members can earn a $2 bonus for their nonprofit by introducing a new member to eyegive.
Even more income can be generated for your chosen nonprofit at the new Shop.iGive section. A percentage of anything you buy there will be donated to your selected nonprofit.
If you haven’t heard about iGive before, and are wondering what the catch is, find out from iGive themselves about how your nonprofit could benefit.
