Digital TV and the Internet

Howard Lake | 20 September 1998 | News

Jason Potts writes in this month’s Professional Fundraising about the impact on the Internet of digital TV, and how fundraising charities should address this development. He sees three areas that larger charities should consider. First, digital TV might offer more opportunities for DRTV by targeting discrete audiences via the increased number of channels. Secondly, charities using DRTV already should consider linking their DRTV advert to their Web site. Thirdly, charities might consider creating programming themselves for particular channels.
