US fundraising info for UK fundraisers

What does the US offer for UK and European fundraisers? Can you raise funds from the US? Are you likely to get funds only from foundations, or are there other sources?
Nancy Joste and David Wickert, formerly with CAFAmerica, are launching a series of products and services from their company Chapel & York to help non-US charities raise money in the US.
Nancy told UK Fundraising: “Our products are designed to allow fundraisers to sit at their desks and receive from us materials about US funders, about ideas for fundraising, to get foundation grantmaking and application guidelines (with annotations to help complete them), to get information about dealing with the US culturally and to provide a HelpLine”.
