The Phone Room introduces 'risk-free' fundraising
Arts fundraising company The Phone Room is offering to take the risk out of donor campaigns by pledging to refund the difference if organisations do not raise more money than they pay the agency.
The fundraising programme, offered to arts, heritage, museum and theatre venues, is based on The Phone Room's track record. David Dixon, Director of the company, said: " In 20 years’ of running campaigns for arts organisations, we’ve never lost money for a client."
He explained why he was making the offer. "Everyone knows they need to invest in fundraising, but they also know they can’t afford to take risks," he said. He added that most organisations were failing to capitalise on potential fundraising opportunities and, as a result, were missing out on tens of thousands of pounds worth of income.
