Deutsche Bank & Hospice UK

Deutsche Bank’s two-year ‘Charity of the Year’ partnership with Hospice UK has drawn to a close having raised £2.3 million throughout the pandemic for the charity. Launched in January 2020, the partnership saw Deutsche Bank employees take part in fundraising challenges, events and initiatives to support Hospice UK’s aims of tackling inequalities many people face in getting expert care and to secure a more financially sustainable future for hospices across the UK. The largest event of the partnership was Deutsche Bank’s annual ‘One Day’ campaign, which allowed employees to donate a day of their salary to Hospice UK, with the totals matched by the bank. Across both 2020 and 2021, One Day raised over £1.6 million, a record amount for a single partner as part of the Charity of the Year programme.
