After Adoption raised £15,000 with its first self-branded 10K run, which took place in Hyde Park, London last Sunday.
The event, which was held at the end of National Adoption Week 2009, saw 500 runners complete the route, with British Olympic triathlete Will Clarke taking first place in the men’s race and Meriel Holden winning the women’s race.
Louise Magill, Fundraising Manager for After Adoption, said that the event would become part of the charity’s fundraising calendar.
