IFAW Legacy Officer wins award

Howard Lake | 28 May 2009 | News

Marco Ruggeri, the Legacy Officer for the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW), has won the Legacy Officer of the Year Award 2009 at the tenth Institute of Legacy Management Annual Conference.

The award is designed to recognise assistance provided by colleagues from within the charity sector, and nominations can be for anything from leading on a particularly difficult or contentious case; through saving an estate thousands of pounds through expert understanding of inheritance tax, to being a role model within the sector.

Ruggeri was nominated for his 15 years’ experience of legacy administration. Before his current four year period with IFAW, he worked as Legacy Officer for Guide Dogs for the Blind.
