Administrator of £100m fund to speak at Funding Roadshow
Stephen Cox, Administrator of the new £100 million grantmaking foundation set up by Peter Cruddas, is one of several new speakers and organisations presenting at the 2008 ACEVO Funding Roadshow conferences this summer.
Peter Cruddas, “the City’s richest man” according to The Daily Telegraph, announced a year ago that he would be establishing the Peter Cruddas Foundation with £100 million of his own money to help charities that helped young people.
The annual one-day conference features senior-level presentations from the principal statutory, lottery and trust funders. It takes place in London on 18 June (Central Hall Westminster), Birmingham on 24 June (National Motorcycle Museum) and Leeds on 8 July (The West Yorkshire Playhouse).
Other organisations now presenting include the Department of Health on the reform of Section 64 funding, PCT commissioning and Payment by Results Department for Children; and Schools and Families with an update on funding initiatives including the Youth Opportunity, Youth Capital and Youth Sector Development Funds.
The event costs £125 including VAT, lunch and a networking reception. ACEVO members attending personally will receive a 10% discount if they quote their membership number when booking. You can book by email or by booking form.
