Nightingale Walk raises over £3000 for Trinity Hospice

Howard Lake | 12 June 2007 | News

Trinity Hospice, based on Clapham Common but with a catchment area that spans Central and SW London, has gained over £3000 thanks to more than 70 Trinity supporters who either joined the Nightingale Walk on Saturday, May 26, 2007, or made a donation.
The Nightingale Walk was founded in 1979 to help raise funds for local and international charities. The picturesque route, which is 20 miles in total, winds along the River Thames from Walton on Thames to Putney Embankment.
Trinity decided to join with the Nightingale Walk this year instead of holding its own annual Fun Run on Clapham Common. Due to this year’s success, Trinity aims to join forces with The Nightingale Walk again next year.
