Welsh Assembly asks for feedback on funding of voluntary organisations
The Communities and Culture Committee of the Welsh Assembly is inquiring into the funding of voluntary organisations in Wales and is calling for those with an interest or expertise in this area to submit written evidence.
Statutory funding makes up about one third of the £1 billion income generated by the 30,000 or so voluntary and other third sector organisations in Wales.
The Committee aims to identify specific problems and examples of good practice, so that it can make appropriate recommendations to the Welsh Assembly Government.
