RAF Benevolent Fund in face-to-face recruitment drive
The Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund is to recruit new supporters via face-to-face fundraising at major UK air shows this summer.
The campaign has been planned with agency Burnett Works and executed by Fundraising Initiatives Ltd. It aims to recruit new donors onto an £8.50 per month regular giving programme.
Fundraisers have already joined RAF Benevolent Fund staff at the RAF Waddington Air Show and will also attend the Eastbourne International Air Show in August. Up to 650,000 are expected to attend the two events.

Louise Gibson, Relationship Marketing Manager at the RAF Benevolent Fund, said: “This is a test exercise for us, but one which we feel has great potential. There are over 20 air shows in the UK every year, so the results and feedback we gather from these trials will be used to inform our plans for the coming years.”
