Supermarket Sainsbury’s has launched this year’s Active Kids campaign, the initiative which encourages customers to donate vouchers to a school, guiding or Scout group to help them buy activity and exercise equipment or experiences such as sports coaching for their children.

Sainsbury’s first launched Active Kids in 2005.
Since then over 26,000 schools have benefited from a share of £34 million worth of Active Kids equipment and experiences, all designed to increase physical activity among school children.

Customers receive on Active Kids voucher for every £10 they spend in Sainsbury’s stores, Sainbury’s online grocery site, or at Sainsbury’s petrol stations. An additional Active Kids voucher will be earned for every £10 spent on fresh fruit and vegetables and/or products featuring the healthy apple symbol.
