The Institute of Fundraising is developing a new Code of Fundraising Practice, ‘Best Practice for Major Donor Fundraising’. The Institute invites applications to join the working party to develop the new Code of Fundraising Practice.

Topics to be covered include defining major donor fundraising, data protection in relation to major donors, prospect research and legal issues. The code will also consider issues of diversity and methods to engage major donors further in fundraising.

The Institute is particularly keen to include a major donor, a prospect researcher and fundraisers with major donor fundraising experience in the working party. A full schema for the Code and application forms to join the working party are available on the Institute’s website.
