National Trust hires GOOD Agency to boost awareness

Melanie May | 10 December 2015 | News

The National Trust has appointed GOOD Agency to deliver a three-year fundraising strategy.
The strategy will be aimed at increasing awareness of the charity’s fundraising needs, and tackling low awareness of what it does and why, as well as how people play a crucial role in making this happen, with the objective of boosting income as a result.
GOOD Agency will work across legacies, high value Donors and low-level giving to break through the perception that the National Trust doesn’t need financial support.
To help supporters better know, understand and support the National Trust, GOOD Agency will highlight the breadth of the work the charity does, starting with its role in looking after and providing access to the 775+ miles of coastline it currently cares for.
Chris Norman, strategy director, GOOD Agency said:

“Everyone has visited a National Trust place at some point in their lives. We want to inspire the people who care about these places to give to the National Trust and help them in their ongoing work.  We are confident that together we can create a strategy which puts fundraising into their DNA, driving them towards their goals, making them as revered for their fundraising as they are for the places they care for.”
