National Gardens Scheme and Macmillan celebrate £10 million raised over 20 years
The National Gardens Scheme (NGS) and Macmillan Cancer Relief have hosted a garden lunch at the Chelsea Physic Garden in London on to celebrate 20 years of support.
The partnership has raised over £10 million and funded 123 Macmillan nurse posts, providing care for people living with cancer across the UK.
Established 75 years ago, the NGS has 3,300 private gardens in the UK which open their gates to over 750,000 visitors each year.

Money raised from entry fees and retail sales enables the NGS to support national nursing, caring and gardening charities, including Macmillan Cancer Relief.
