IT Special Interest Group to hold conference on 31 May

The Institute of Fundraising has announced details of the 2006 Annual IT SIG/Data Analyst Conference.
Seminars include topics on databases, internet/new media, fundraising, data analysis and data enhancement, including the following confirmed sessions:
– Peter Flory: Fundraising Databases – Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow
– Susie Wright of Amnesty International and Sue Fidler of CTT: A case study on Amnesty’s implementation of an online payment system.
– Which analysis tool? The Really Useful Guide to Data Analysis Software – Nigel Magson of Talking Numbers
– Nick Mason of Occam: Use of Web analytics & Online Data in the NFP Sector
– Electronic Marketing – How To Doit Legally (i.e. all you need to know about email opt-ins/outs and more) – Louise Townsend of Pinsent Masons
– Iain Pritchard of Sayer Vincent – Implementing Databases
– And an update from The Inland Revenue on what you need to do to ensure you and your database is compliant with Gift Aid regulation.

The event will be held on May 31st in London, and the cost for registration is £45 for IOF members, £60 for non-members and £90 for companies and consultants.
