Future Fundraising is to launch a new service to provide practical training for individuals looking to enter the charity sector to help them develop a career path as fundraisers. The company hopes this will help expand the numbers of trained fundraisers available to charities.

Aimed at individuals who are already volunteers, fundraisers or in entry level positions Future Fundraising’s new service is designed to help them to develop a career path.

The initiative, ‘Fundraising Recruitment’, will be launched on 8 November 2006 at 6pm when the outline of the project will be discussed by key speakers from a leading charity, from recruitment and from the media. UK Fundraising’s Howard Lake will be one of the speakers. The “Future of Fundraising” launch takes place at the Millennium Hotel, Mayfair, London.
