List of over 2,000 Scottish funding sources published

Grant Makers Scotland has published a list of over 2,000 trusts, foundations, funds, bequests and settlements from the Scottish Register of Charities.
There are 23,000 charities registered in Scotland. Just over 2,000 of them are grant-makers. Some give only to charities in Scotland, others give throughout the UK and internationally. In 2012 these organisations had a combined income of over £500 million.
Grant Makers Scotland say that “this is the first time that the entire list of grant makers registered in Scotland has been made available”. The resource has taken “hundreds of hours of research” to compile.
The information can be downloaded for £65 or for £95 in Excel merge format.
