Charity Bank events to show savers the impact of their money

Howard Lake | 8 October 2013 | News

Charity Bank, the bank that lends solely to charities, community organisations and social enterprises using deposits from individuals, is running a number of events at which its depositors can see for themselves some of the projects that have benefited from their money.
The 2013 Different Journeys events coincide with National Ethical Investment Week, which runs from 13th to 19th October.
Depositors who come to one of the events will meet some of the staff of the charities as well as the people these organisations work with.
The events, presented as part of Charity Bank‘s commitment to transparent banking, take place in Scotland, Wales, London, North East England, South Midlands, East Midlands and the North West.
Organisations taking part include Epilepsy Action Scotland, Glasgow; City Life Church, Sunderland; Medical Detection Dogs, Milton Keynes; and Lyvennet Community Trust, Cumbria.
