Argos customer donation tick box aims to raise £250,000

Argos and Help the Hospices have launched a new customer donation facility this Christmas which, it is hoped, could earn the charity £250,000 during the next two years.

The scheme called ‘Tick to Give’ enables customers to give 20p to Help the Hospices by ticking a box on their selection slip when they are choosing items in store.

They then simply hand over their additional 20p when they pay for their items. Early indications are encouraging and the scheme has already raised over £10,000 in the first eight weeks.

The money raised through Tick to Give will be used to help fund Hospice Information — a multi-media information service provided by Help the Hospices and St Christopher’s Hospice.
