The Charity Commission has appointed AS Biss to help it draw up a public affairs strategy, following a successful tender process.

The Charity Commission selected AS Biss after a tender process. The company will provide a strategy to enable the Commission “to develop a more active and influential role in policy development, public debate and in government.”

Nic Coward, Deputy Chairman of AS Biss, said: “With the Charities Bill still going through Parliament, it’s the right time for the charitable sector’s regulator to develop its engagement with parliamentary stakeholders for the years ahead.”
