Entries to the 2013 Centre for Social Justice Awards are open. These offer cash prizes of £10,000 to charities, small voluntary groups and other local projects that can display innovation and effectiveness in addressing the causes of poverty and in reversing social breakdown.

Now in their ninth year, the Centre for Social Justice Awards have so far granted nearly £400,000 and over 80 winning groups have been brought to the attention of the national media and policy makers.

The awards are open to registered charities and voluntary groups with charitable objectives. They must have an annual turnover of less than £3 million and work with people living in social or financial poverty in the UK.
