The New Media awards draw attention to ingenuity, modernisation and accessibility in the field of new media technology, and several of its categories are open to non-profit organisations.

There are eight awards in the New Media Awards 2005:

• Modernising government award
• Elected representative award
• Education award
• Community and information award
• Advocacy award
• Accessibility award
• Innovation award

You can nominate your own project, but the organisers have said: “we would particularly like to encourage you to nominate any other worthy candidates that have grabbed
your attention.”

The closing date for entries is 31 May 2005.
