Blackbaud expands staff to support UK presence
Blackbaud, the relationship-building software, services and Web-based solutions provider for non-profits, is expanding its staff to support the company’s growing UK presence.
Senior customer support and product development staff have been given new assignments aimed at ensuring the company’s offerings meet UK non-profits’ needs.
“Serving non-profits in the UK is an important part of our growth strategy,” said Robert J. Sywolski, President and CEO of Blackbaud, Inc. “In order to better meet the specific needs of these organisations, we are realigning our product development team to increase our focus on the UK and committing additional resources to strengthen our ability to serve UK non-profits.”

Dorie Wallace has been named Regional Product Manager in a move that expands the company’s product management function to include a specific focus on international client needs. She will be responsible for representing needs of clients outside of the United States.
To support Wallace’s efforts, an International Product Team has been formed within Product Development to ensure quality products are delivered on time that meet the needs of clients by region. Members of the team include senior-level staff that has been developing products for non-profits for more than ten years.
Andrea Sanders will transfer to Blackbaud’s European office to manage the company’s Glasgow-based support and training operation. Sanders has been with Blackbaud for nine years, two of which she spent managing the company’s U.S.-based customer support operation of more than 125 people. She also was responsible for getting the company’s support function in the Pacific Rim up and running in 1997.
Blackbaud announced these developments on the eve of the its first European Conference for Non-Profits which starts today in London.
