It's a Mini fundraising adventure for Whizz-Kidz

Whizz-Kidz has forged a new two-year partnership with care manufacturer MINI UK which will include staff fundraising, cause-related marketing and brand awareness activities.

The partnership will involve staff of MINI dealerships, employees at the MINI factory in Oxford and staff at MINI HQ.

The partnership started on 29 September when Whizz-Kidz took part in MINI’s Family Fun Day at Plant Oxford. Around 4,500 MINI employees and their families attended and all funds raised will go to Whizz-Kidz.

Future plans for the partnership include a Whizz-Kidz Kidz Board meeting to be held at the Oxford plant and extensive staff fundraising activity. MINI will also be supporting the Whizz-Kidz runners at next year’s London Marathon and participating in a MINI Adventure challenge overseas.

Trevor Houghton-Berry, general manager for MINI adds: “We’re really looking forward to working with Whizz-Kidz. There is a very strong synergy between both brands. A MINI can be customised to suit an individual’s specific requirements and Whizz-Kidz provides mobility equipment customised to meet a disabled child or young person’s individual needs. Ultimately, the essence of both Whizz-Kidz and MINI is about having fun and living life to the full.”
