World Vision doubles online giving in two years

World Vision’s Division Director Mark Grote says that $1.75 million was donated online in 2001.
In an interview with Internet-fundraising.com, Grote describes World Vision’s success in online fundraising. Nevertheless, the $1,758,000 raised online in 2001 was still only 1% of the
total amount raised by the non-profit that year.
Grote suggests that this might be due to the fact that most of the organisation’s donors are older and might therefore prefer to give offline.
