BT customer survey raises £925,000 for Childline

British Telecom’s year-long customer research programme donated £1 to the children’s charity for every customer survey completed.

The final total is expected to be higher, as the survey has still not been sent to all BT’s customers.

BT says that it will donate £1 to ChildLine for all completed surveys returned by 31 December 2002 where the account is verified as a genuine BT account through the information provided, with a maximum one donation per account.
