Religious harmony is now a charitable aim

The Charity Commission has decided that the promotion of religious harmony now qualifies as a charitable objective

The definition of charitable objectives has been enlarged by the Charity Commission. Organisations that promote racial harmony and eliminate discrimination on racial grounds have been eligible for charitable status since 1983. Now, the promotion of religious harmony has been added to this list.
