Big Issue founder John Bird has helped found GetEthical.com, a fair trade site, together with Hilary Wainwright, editor of Red Pepper magazine.
Big Issue founder John Bird has helped found GetEthical.com, a fair trade site, together with Hilary Wainwright, editor of Red Pepper magazine. The site offers organic wines, clothing, environment-friendly nappies. Shoppers can vote for which non-profit organisations receive the money they save shopping online. Participants include Anti-Slavery International, Campaign Against Arms Trade, and Survival International.
Fundraising researchers might also find useful the online magazine, Ethical Matters, which includes details on companies’ ethical records.
